Interview Prep in 2016
An invitation for an interview is usually fantastic news, but after the excitement has kicked in, it’s normal to feel slightly overwhelmed and anxious. Nowadays, with easy access to social media, there’s a good chance the interviewer knows more about you than you may think!
They’re unlikely to use this material in their interviews, but you may want to be honest if they ask you about any hobbies outside of work, because they’ll soon know if you’re telling fibs. The most important thing to remember in an interview is to be yourself. The moment you try to be someone you’re not, you can begin to untangle, and you’re not likely to come across very natural, which is never good in an interview. You should never need to hide anything if you’re suitable for the job, so just be yourself and stay calm!
